It’s been a long time coming for veteran rappers Terry tha Rapman, Overdose and Pherowshuz.
After a series of albums (Terry, OD and Phero have all released two solo albums), the trio have announced that they will be releasing a collaborative album this year titled ‘BANS‘.
BANS is an acronym for ‘Boyz Are Not Smilin‘. Coincidentally, ‘Boyz Are Not Smilin‘ is the title of Terry’s second album which spurned The Headies award winning single ‘Sample‘.
Teasing fans, they trio first released a remake of G.O.O.D Music‘s ‘Clique’ and when the buzz was right, they dropped the album’s first single ‘Sexy lady‘ featuring fast rising pop singer Dammy Krane.
‘It’s something we’ve always thought of doing for a while, things just fell in place so we decided to give it a shot‘, Terry tha Rapman says.
‘We’ve always been bouncing ideas around on our individual projects, so it’s nothing new to us. I hope the fans love it’, OD jokingly says.
‘We’re still recording songs, not necessarily being cornered to make a certain kind of music. It’s fun all the way’, Pherowshuz adds.
